Default Window switches

New to the site! I have a 2005 F-150 Supercab.
Problem: Driver's switches will operate all windows but all other switches don't work. They all stopped working at the same time. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thx.

Welcome to the site! There is a lock button for the other windows on the driver switch.

GatorB8, yes I'm familiar with the lockout but that's not the issue. The other switches don't work with the lockout on.

Thx.

Had to get mine replaced, luckily it was under factory. window switches are in a little "pod" underneath the plastic cover. It pops up pretty easy and would be an easy install if you aren't under warranty anymore.

The common power for all the other windows goes through the lockout part of the drivers switch, and besides the splice and the door molex (if yours was built at the dearborn plant ) there aren't any other common elements to all three other switches.

I'd pull your drivers switches and use a multimeter to test for continuity across the lockout switch output and the power input for the switch.

Good advice....troubleshooting "101"....find the common point, go from there.

Everyone should take GATORB8's previous advice and get the online repair manuals. Worth the investment.

Me, I bought the Factory "Paper" manuals. They are getting so marked up, I can hardly read some of the pages anymore!

I cleaned up my switches how its posted in that thread. It worked for a couple days on my driver switch, the passengers lasted a little longer.

Then the driver stopped working so I went to a wrecker and picked another switch up for $100. That worked for a couple months. Then I bought a brand new one in the ford box from a guy on ebay. It was 70$. I think his names switchdoctor or something like that.

I didnt buy the passenger ones because they are also $70. Im not sure why the driver and passengers are the same price.
