Default Window Master Control Switch

Has anyone had to remove the inner drivers side door panel to get to the window control switch? Or does anyone know where I can get installation instructions (with pics) to show me step by step on how to remove the panel and then replace the window master control switch? I'd just like to see how it is done so I don't break something trying to pull it all apart.

Thanks in advance
D

i may be wrong but i dont think you have to remove the whole panel to get to that. just (very carefully) pry up where the window switches are. i believe that will give you access to everything you need.

Lieutenant G - That sounds easy enough, but its the first 4 words of your post that I don't feel comforted with - "I may be wrong"... LOL. Maybe someone out there has changed theirs out and can give me some details or point me to a link that shows pictured steps on exactly what to do.
Thanks for your input

Lieutenant G is right you just pop off the part that covers the switch. It is really easy, I did mine while sitting in the carpool line to pick my son up from school. Never even got out of my seat.

Im not in my truck today but I can take some pics for you when I am back to it. Its such a short task I may be able to get a video for you if you prefer.

You do NOT have to take the panel off. I have replaced the driver and passenger side window control. bought both through Auto zone was cheaper. driver side cheaper then passenger side...don't understand that.
anyway, I used a small flat screw driver along that seam on the arm rest. it pops the arm rest off and the switch just unplugs. I t takes about 5 min.

this is to replace the speakers, but the original poster shows in one of the parts on how he removed the window switch(s) in the process, maybe that will help.

I will be back to my truck tomorrow. Let me know if you still need the video. I'll be more than happy to make it for you. I pulled mine off with my fingers no screwdriver or anything else needed.
