Default Window issues...

The windows have been weird in my 04 fX4 Screw since I bought it a year and a half ago, but now it's gotten a little worse. The driver's side rear window was intermittent for about a year. It would work when the truck was running but then sometimes wouldn't, then would only work from the rear switch, and now it just doesn't work at all... Also, the passenger side front window only works from the drivers side switch... I took all the switch panels apart and put some dielectric grease in the contacts but it didn't help...
- On a different note. Sometimes When people ride in the back seat, the doors won't open from the inside unless I work the locks on and off... I checked the child locks... Any help would be appreciated...

Dielectric grease is not conductive.. should not be used on electrical connectios.. it is made to seal out moisture on electrical connections.. you may need a new master panel.. common problem on 04-08

Sometimes the wires in the door jamb (driver side, inside the rubber boot) get pinched which causes the intermittent problems and sometimes they'll punch right in half. It's easy to pull the runner boot back and inspect each wire and if one is pinched bad enough just use a but connector and rejoin them.

Pull the panel out of the door, flip it over, shove each individual wire firmly into its spot in the plug. Test again. Sometimes they loosen up.

Would that panel going bad cause the window switch on the rear door not to work as well?

Yes. All power to the windows starts at the driver's door.
