Default Window button turns on mirror heater...

So when I try and roll up the windows it turns on the light for my heated mirror indicator. I just noticed it today so I haven't put much into it. Just curious about any ideas? After a while everything goes back to normal.

Cheers

No I don't think it is condensation... I am guessing somewhere the wires have rubbed together and is causing a open circuit

hmmmm, well the first thing i'd do is take apart my window roll down buttons and see if something is shorting? maybe look for burn marks or something.. its weird because those buttons are located in totally different places.. but then again the wires probably get close there anyways..

just my opinion

Thanks, I figured it out. Pulled off drivers side door panel and used a test light the ground wire has been cut, which I found out after fixing it that this is another common problem with these trucks so instead of tracing the wire just gonna cut it and make a new ground right on the door. Now I just have to build up some courage to do my plugs.......

Thanks for the help
