Default Whoops

Got some grease on the seat tonight. Anyone know the best way to get it out of the cloth seats?

try finding someone with a steam cleaner. i had a pretty good stain in my rear seats and that thing got it out really easy. grease might be a diffrent story though.

I went to Google.com, typed in "remove grease from cloth" on got several links. Here is the first one:

That's one of the several suggestions in the link that the Google search came up with.

I had a buddy that said he used to take a bath in that stuff; he used to work in a junk yard as a parts puller.

If you put grease all over the rest of the seat, then it will look all the same color. Thats what I did in my old car.

don't use undiluted simple green on anything except metal parts, it will eat through things trust me... well not eat but it will strip dye out of vinyl

Dilute it 4 parts water to 1 part simple green spray it on the seat and give it a minute to work, suck up the water with a wet vac., repeat a couple of times until you get the results you want

Thanks for the tip about diluting it. I would have had to replace my seat

I ended up using some stuff I found at Walmart called Turtle Wax Interior1. It has a brush on top of the can. Worked great.
