sounds like the same thing a lot of others are having, check the foam gasket around the shelf area where the air filter sits. You have to unclip and pull the air filter shelf out, goes between the edge where the shelf closes on sides and bottom of tray. $3 fix, I did it a couple of months ago, no more sound.

Idler or tensioner pulley...

I'll check the air box. I just put a drop in K&N in I don't think I saw any seal but the one on the filter. If not I'll get the tensioner. Alt is good checked it first. It did it before the amp was installed. Thanks it drives me crazy at times.

have you turned the wheel to the lock? I would do that and if the front end skips or hops it's the power steering pump ( at least that's what is wrong with mine ) then again mine is a 10th gen

I'm going with alternator, or idler pulleys also.
