Default Where to buy parts?

I have a 04 f150 xlt that is needing some parts. I need brake pads, calipers, rotors and hubs. Also need some front struts and little odds and ins. What's the best place i can get all of these parts. I looked at rock auto, never heard of the parts. Not looking for generic parts, just some good oem quality.

Default Hard to answer

For serious parts to engine I stick with OEM . Some off amazon . Some from oemselect on ebay . Some from fairway ford ebay . Always use oem spark plugs amazon , mc filters and syn oil from wally world .
I usually get my brake stuff from box stores-- Autozone etc . I buy the better grade . I used rebuilt calipers on fronts and metallic pads to cut down the dust .
I sometimes buy from rock auto .
Front end parts are moog for me . Struts are monroe quick struts . But I would consider moog next time .
A lot of stores will price match from internet source ,some won't .
I buy all my led lights from 4x4truck leds .
I go for a working truck not flash , I'm a gitter done guy .
You will get a lot of different opinions on this I'm sure .

You will get a lot of different answers on this. For me I buy a lot from http://www.tascaparts.com/ for OEM parts, and a lot from Amazon, Ebay, and Rockauto.

Rockauto.com

I'd say 90% of all auto parts I purchase are from there.

I will buy OE or better than OE only, so generally avoid off brand shenanigans. For me I find the PN for the item and then usually comb the internet, like amazon, ebay, rockauto, etc. These are my main avenues. Some Ford dealers are fair on parts pricing but I find many are over the top. For example I needed a pig tail. From rock auto and amazon was $30, went to ford dealer as I needed right now. $60. So as you can see there are some savings to be had by shopping around which translates to more mods for your truck

Well.... I have bought some parts at rockauto (mirrors, fender flares, etc) very good parts

BUT! If you are looking for specific things, as you mentioned, I recommend good brands (instead OEM)

For example, I changed my rear shock absorbers for 'Monroe Reflex'
I changed some front joints for 'Moog'

Solid advice and pretty much same as what I do.

I've had a hard time beating parts.com for OEM on any my vehicles lately. Non OEM I'll check rockauto then amazon (hard to beat prime shipping). If it's 6 PM and I need a part to get it running, it's whatever AZ has with the longest warranty.

You can pull OEM part numbers from fordparts.com or alldatadiy (subscription) or a similiar Ford Manual.
