Default wheel help

Hey all this is my first real post, pretty new to the site. Anyways I have a 2004 2wd 5.4 reg cab that I plan on putting a 2.5 leveling kit and haven't decided if I want to put an aal in the rear. I have 265/70r17 falken wildpeak at and I will be keeping these tires for awhile.

Will a 17x9 look fine on them? Also I want them to stick out past the fender wells just a bit but nothing crazy. So what backspace and offset should I look for? Any pictures would be nice.

Thanks guys!

Factory wheels are +44, sounds like you want something around +25 to give just a bit wider stance. That tire will likely appear "stretched" on a 17x9 wheel, and it will look pretty small with a 2.5" level. On a 4x4 when a 2.5" level is used, the rear needs to be raised just a bit, i am not sure what you want on a 2wd. It may be best to wait and upgrade wheels/tires at the same time.

The falken site shows the tire can take 7.5-9 wheel. But yea I don't want to have the wheels sticking way out just enough to give the truck A better stance. I most likely won't be getting rid of the tires anytime soon unless something happens since they Are pretty new. Should I look for a smaller leveling kit?

I don't wanna give bad advice, you should be sure and look at 2wd specific stuff. In my case (07FX4) I needed a taller block to make the rear look right with the 2.5" front level. Many times ppl think the 2.5" kit makes it a bit too tall, not always. Here's a link to pics of my truck.
