Backspacing and offset are kind of the same thing. The higher the number of backspacing the more it will tuck in under the fenders. The lower the number the more it will stick out. 6 inches of backspacing will tuck in more than a wheel with 4.5 inches backspacing. As for offset a negative offset will usually go with a low backspacing. -12 offset 4.5 inches bs. A positive offset will generally go with higher backspacing and will tuck in. 6 inches bs and a +25 offset. Hope this helps.

This will give you a little insite. As you begin your mods you'll want to make sure you have the correct offset on your rims to prevent rubbing...

I've also seen some lifts on websites that require that... Call them directly... That's what I did and they will give you the full specs..

4.5 backspacing with a -12 offset, will this stick my tires out pretty far? especially compared to my stock rims
