Found these two guys on my 06 king ranch. What are they and what Do they do? Mounted in the center of the rad, thanks.

Outside temp sensor and I think the other is for airbag but not sure.

Cool thanks, any one else care to chime in? How about this thing? I thought senser, so it knew if the hood was closed, but it doesn't come down over top of anything really? So that would hardly make sense.

the lower one with the bolt thru it is an airbag sensor. I had to replace mine.

Yup. Top one is ambient air sensor for the HVAC, the bottom is your front airbag crash sensor... and that thing on the hood Ive never seen before, Im guessing its not factory.

Thanks guys. Really, never seen it before? Does anyone else have one? It looks factory to me. It's got a live and ground going to it. Power is there. Wires go into the firewall. Looks pretty factory to me.

The one on the hood is for remote start.

Ah, what for though? The reciever unit is inside, mounted on the windshield.
