what model truck comes with the painted door handles that are solid not the painted buckets with the chrome handles i just want the solid painted handles, guy from silver state ford parts is telling me theres no such thing? is this correct?

 

I have never seen one with solid painted handles on the dealerships lot. I can't remember if the Limited's came with them PTM or with the Mark LT style handles.

 

Don't the FX2s have painted door handles?

 

I would think you would have to go with a metal door handle to keep the paint on. Im not sure if the chrome handles are metal or not but the black plastic ones on my truck dont look like they would hold paint very well.

 

I've never seen the 04-08's have painted door handles from the factory. I've seen some custom deals that have been painted. You can paint them as long as they're prepped right and the right paint is used. You shouldn't have any problems with paint coming off.

 

I might have to look into that....white door handles on a white truck might look pretty sweet. Then i would want white side mirrors and white this and white that. hahaha. Then wife wonder why money is disappearing to go to my truck and she has been telling me she wants tinted windows for a year now. I would have to just explain to her than even though her Mazda 3 is nice its not as beautiful as my truck and doesnt need as much attention as my truck. ahaha

My wife already knows, she has an 07 Accord and all I've done to it was have the windows tinted and added an iPod controller. That's all it's getting too! lol

She doesn't mind though, it keeps me away from the car lots. She figures I can do whatever I want to my paid off truck and it's still cheaper then a monthly car note on a new pickup.

 

fx2-or 4 my fx4 has solid painted handles....
