What about down?

That Lincoln is cool, but I never really got why trucks were lowered. I suppose I'm from the "old school" way of thinking; I always saw a truck for for pulling, hauling, and any other utility form of work. Lowering removes most of that ability as I saw it. Don't get me wrong, it's your truck, and you can do what you want with it, I just never understood the point of lowering a truck. The cool factor I suppose.
I laugh my fanny perpandicular off when I see one of those small to mid-size trucks driving over a speed bump in the parking lots. They cuss up a storm when they have to do so. Or when the bed end is lower than the front; that must be cool for some folks.
Me, I drive my truck right over the bumps, with a smile on my face. Barely notice!
Now perhaps one of those truck bed lifting and spinning setups....wonder if you can do that while hauling a bed load of cow crap; might make for a good way to spread fertilizer as it flings out!

I'm considering doing a kit on mine that drops 3" in the rear and 2" in the front. It's certainly not a "slammed" kit (hate those) so it won't be a speed bump catcher. The Roush trucks are a 2, 3 drop, and I don't think anyone would argue that the '07 Nitemare is a good looking truck.

Not sure what year truck you got, but i know the 97-03 rear springs have the rear shackle below the spring and above the hanger (kinda backwards) so you could throw some 2" drop shackles in the back and level it out. Those are pretty cheap and easy. Shouldn't adversely affect pinion angle either, just being 2 inches. Never actually done this, but considered it for my dad's 2wd STX.
