Mine is with the theft light on my 05 XLT. I can make my lights turn on and off by throwing my ball cap on the dashboard.

Just sayin'... Mine was on the dash of my 05 Lariat as well. Found out the exact same way as nrivera04 mentioned.

Maybe I do have one with my odometer. I guess I just never noticed it.

My light sensor is on my dash, and the compass box is behind the rear mirror. Its an 04 XLT

You are right, I was wrong. Tested it out on the way home. Must have been a coincidence when it worked to cover that compass.
