There is a thread somewhere on here with all the wireing diagrams etc that you will want to print out... If you decide to go your own way.

Personally, i think it says in vipers fine lettering that the whole thing is void for warranty if you decide to install it yourself.

After all was said and done.... Just take it in. And if you dont have the money right now, wait until you do.

Last thing you want is somthing frying your $50k truck just to save you from 100 bucks.

Yes, along with the smart phone app to start it. I did not install it myself for reasons stated above.

I installed the app....

Love the GPS part of it, expecially when parked at the mall

Yea i really don't want to mess with all that stuff, sounds complicated, but what i wanted to know is what all do you need to be ready to go, i have the system and the remote start bypass, but what else would the installer need to go as smooth as possible?

His tools....

If you take it in to best buy etc, Thats all up on their side.

You dont have the computer software that Only authorized dealers have.

Therefore... You have to take it in.

Theres no way any install ever goes smooth.
I hate to sound like a sick dick, but you gotta suck it up and stop worrying.

Youll be like a kid with it.... Expecially in winter.

When Im camping, Ill start my truck with my cell, from the box of the truck so that Ill get warmed up through the back window.

i got mine installed profesionally. Its not going to put a huge dent in your wallet so i dont see the point in taking the risk, but that;s just me. I love me especially in the north country winters!

Where you from rusty?

Central Alberta myself.

I use my aux (trunk) to open my rear slider window to my canopy.

That way i can start the truck with ac on max, then open the window... And the dog stays cool or warm in winter.
