Where do you get used programmers? Is there a vendor that gives good deals on new ones? I am just trying to upgrade performance a little on my stock 4.6L.

 

Forums, ebay, craigslist

 

Craigslist, I got my Edge for $130 (screen stopped working after 2 months, I sent it to Edge and they gave me a refurbished unit with updated firmware for free). My Airaid intake was $120 on craigslist. And my 2 10" Rockford Fosgate subs in a box for under the rear seat was $40. I just have a Craigslist App on my phone so it works pretty well on getting the good deals first.

 

Do they, Edge, sell refurbished units? That would be better than a used one.

 

i got mine used from a member on a forum and its been working great. just be sure who ever you get it from set there truck back to stock before they removed it or else you wont be able to use the tuner.

 

I'm pretty sure you need a non operating one and a really good excuse why it doesn't work and you don't have a receipt. I told them an ex girlfriend bought it for me less than a year ago and I don't talk to that stupid bitch anymore so I can't get a receipt from her. They understood. And sent me a new one. Edge customer support is awesome, especially this dude Riley.

not to steal ur thread, but i need a used pc kit for my diablo sport predator, theres no way im paying $50 for a plug and a usb wire! lol

 

I'm not sure its the same thing but for the Edge its a USB to mini USB cable. I used the one from my Playstation 3 that charges the controllers. Or a lot of digital cameras use that cable.

 

They've got it for $30 at a couple places on google shopping.

Unfortunately, it looks like a proprietary design.
