Default used edge evolution

Hi all I have a 2004 Ford F150 5.4 V8 4x4 and I have the opportunity from a friend to buy his edge evolution for 250 bucks. My question is are they transferable from truck to truck? or is there something I have to do before I put it in truck if i buy it?

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

get the fusion software downloaded to your computer, plug the programmer into your computer and it will setup, if its not set back to stock it will ask you to set it to stock before it can continue. if it doesnt do anything like that then you are good to go. there might be an easier way but i wouldnt plug it into your truck till you find out

Now that we've all had a good laugh at mainman38's expense. Let's get serious (well, kind of).

Hmmm. Let me see. I have an Edge product and I want to find out if it's set to stock...

In today's techno-vanced world, the easiest and cheapest thing to do (usually) is to go to the manfacturer's website and look for words like "CUSTOMER SUPPORT", "UPDATES", or "DOWNLOADS"...

Well I'll be damned. IT WORKS AGAIN!

http://www.edgeproducts.com/index.php leads me to this one:

http://www.edgeproducts.com/product_updates.php

and to this one:

http://www.edgeproducts.com/customer...le.php?csak=34

I'll bet they even have a manual in PDF format (if you need it).

Good to hear.

Now you need to send it off to PHP and get custom tunes!
