Default under coating

I live in Michigan so basically rust is very typical on vehicles around here due to all the snow and salt. The under body of my truck is pretty clean still so before I let it get rust I figured I would under coat my truck, wanted to know the procedure and what under coating to use for my truck, any help would be appreciated greatly!

I just had my fx4 done, so make sure they either cover off the area between the cab and box or remove any over spray after when doing the undercoating.

Well I had my dealership do it (not the cheapest route but didn't have time to do it myself) and they used matin senour and some other, andI know they used a bit of 3M in area's to save money, but they said it was important NOT to use 3m or rattle can for the main part because it doesn't cover as well. They used a set up similar to paint, but it also makes the truck quieter, so that's a plus.

Fluid Film is a quick and easy way to undercoat. A gallon runs about $40 and is enough to do at least two vehicles. It leaves a wet non-drying film that remains active, migrating to all inaccessible areas and embedding into the pores of the metal. It seals off all oxygen so no corrosion can occur. It is excellent against all the nasty road salts. It is a once a year application.

If any member hasn't tried Fluid Film and lives in the US, just PM me your contact info and I'll send out a sample can for free. We even pay for shipping.
