It cant be horrendous... i cant say that its the best thing for your truck either. I havent heard anyone else running that setup before. Hope someone responds with some helpful info. Manual must be fun though!!

Probably the reason I have to shift at 3k rpm to avoid the studder, jerky feeling since leaving stock tires. When I bought the truck I always skipped 4th and went right into fifth but those days are long gone, and yes 5th gear does do anything can barely use it on freeway bc it just doesn't push. lol hope my truck isn't affected other than crappy-er performance. Just went and checked, code 27...3.31 doh!!!!!!

Yeah 2wd gears would most likely be just south of a grand to get. Yea if you have 35's, a 4.56 would be an ideal perfect situation. I have 35's on a level and have 3.73 gears and have zero problems (knock on wood). I drive most highway so having the 3.73 helps me more than the 4.56's would for gas mileage. Like i said, hey, if you have been 2 yrs already i guess its okay as long as you dont beat on it but the higher gear ratios would re-coup some of your power loss and mpg.
