I ended up drilling out the original lock. Had to drill all the way through it, because the tab that engages against the handle was riveted to the barrel.
You got a cheap locksmith. I was quoted between $75-90 from 3 different joints around town, and that didn't include the keys!
Edit: I found out how they "unlocked" it. The lock had some slight back and forward wiggle that I never noticed after I installed it. If you shove it backwards, you can rotate it away from the handle's tab. They must've pushed and twisted it with a screw driver.
