Default twitching gauges

Hey guys I have an 08 with the 5.4 and I've noticed over the past week that when I crank the truck the gauges twitch for a few seconds and then engage and work normally. Anyone have this happen before?

Definitely the battery. Mine were doing the same thing a few years ago and replace the battery and it fixed it.

A weak battery will do this but it doesn't mean the battery is bad as you may have something draining the battery as the truck sets....I had that.

Do you have any auxiliary items plugged into your outlets? Mine stay on unless I manually turn them off when I shut down (example: Satellite Radio)

Default RE: Twitching Guages

I had the same problem and corrected it by replacing the battery.

No I don't have anything plugged in or anything. Prolly the battery as y'all said. Thank y'all for the help!
