Disable the BMS for a few weeks and see if the problem goes away. I talked to a guy that had the same issues you describe. He replaced the battery and within a pretty short time the problem came back with the new battery. He disabled the Battery Management and the problem went away. The BMS just wasn't charging the battery enough.

this post is over 5 years old ... and 04-08 don’t have a battery management system.

This has happened to me, but also after you turn the truck off and remove the key... the gauges stay twitching for a bit.

My truck hasn't done it for a long while now...
