Default trying to install leveling kit, NOT working!

Hey guys I am beyond frustrated right now that I just put together the suspension again. I tried everything in my power to get the control arm to move and disconnect, I hit it with every hammer I have and it didnt come loose.

Maybe its b/c I have a 2005 to be honest, and its never had to be taken apart it looks like. Parts look in good order to, but just wouldnt budge. If there is a secret I should know, please help me out guys. I have hit it with everything I got.

At the upper ball joint? Other than a couple good hard raps on the side of the control arm I don't know. Where are you located?

I am in miami,fl. I am probably going to have to take it to a shop sadly, b/c it will not budge. I put my new wheels and tires on and they are rubbing like crazy, so I have to get this leveling kit on.

You could try a pitman arm puller ( free rental from autozone ).

I use this tool and it works very well on the upper ball joints (and tie rods).https://www.amazon.com/OTC-Outer-Tie...words=otc+7503
If your suspension has never had parts replaced, chances are your ball joints are shot anyway. You could just use a 'pickle fork'. It will definitely separate the two, but destroy the boot in the process.

Is it the 2 bolts for the UCA that go through the strut seat or the nut on the ball joint of the UCA?

its the one main bolt that connects the control arm, to well the thing I have no name for lol. Its the top main bolt that they say you can just hammer it out, but I promise you that this has been hammered from every side and its not budjing.

So the nut on the ball joint? Did you apply heat to it? I think I had to hit mine strait up toward the wheel well with a small sledge.
