Default Trying to decide on a leveling kit.

I'm wanting to level my 06 lariat. The difference between the front and back is 1.5" from ground to wheelwell. I'm wanting to be able to run 35x12.50's but not wanting to ruin the ball joints from too much of an angle. Will 1.5" level be ok with the tire size? Or if I go with 2.5" front and 1" in the rear will that put too much stress on the joints?

Id Go with 1.5. 2.5 will make the front end higher then the rear and look weird. I have 2" on my STX 4x4 and it sits perfect. You can also add blocks in the rear and go with 2.5

For all the people using 2.5" up front. Have you had any issues with ball joints?

Mine has almost 100,000 km on it or around 56k miles and my upper ball joints, lower ball joints, tie rod ends and maybe my cv axles are pretty well done.

So your saying the leveling kit on yours has damaged all of that?

Would leveling with either bilsteins or quicklift loaded shocks make any difference as to the angles on the joints compared to a spacer leveling kit?

From what I can tell yes because of the angle they're at.
