My 02 4.6 (long gone) went 647,000 + kms (402045 miles)........Had some harsh shifting 1st to 2nd & back to 1st around in hot summer stop & go traffic clusters @ around 350,000 + kms.....changed the filter & fluid & installed a drain plug in pan !!.....then dropped just the fluid every 3-4 oil changes @ 3000 mile intervals............Shifted smooth as silkuntil I traded it in for an 08 in around 2010 ??.................Was also on a used 2nd motor but original tranny!!

2006 5.4 3v, replaced at 198,900 with a reman after a planetary gear blowout. Just hit 315,000 and still going strong. Serviced (fluid & friction modifier, new gasket) twice since it was installed. Smooth as silk.

my 2006 f150 made it to 235K before letting go. I serviced the transmission every 50K. after 10k on rebuild, it started shifting hard from 2nd to 3rd. now it's doing it from 1st to 2nd. no idea what is wrong with it. frustrating the rebuild is having issues at less than 30k.
