Kind of lame around where I live, but it might be more popular in Texas. Whatever you do, please don't mount them on the roof.

Ide buy a Cb radio and plug in the PA into it and be able to talk to people etc before mounting up train horns and an air tank. Where would you mount everything? If you want something to scare people buy Hella brand Race horns. I am going to soon as my stock horn is either dying or just very very weak/muffled.

i was looking into a train horn but don't want to spend that kind of money. i found some on ebay with sound clips but i'm don't think they would sound that good in person. i'm from s. florida and i really need one for the following reasons: some idiot has to get in front of you for no apparent reason then slows down, some a-hole gets into the fast lane and decides to go 10 under the speed limit, some duchebag slams on their breaks thinking you have your brights on when in actuality it's just b/c your truck is lifted and the list goes on!

i would understand you for the cbs with speakers since your in the dunes but ppl around here need them because of the fact there are so many 18 wheelers and half of them are on energy pills and are still falling asleep, idiots like jas stated, and just another mod i would like to add to my truck.. many ppl put the compressor in the bed or toolbox and the horns under the frame or bed.. they can be put in different places depending on safety lol
