No argument here. My info was from 06. I think the highest in 06 was 9700 or something. I guess they raised it up to stay competitive with other brands.

I installed Airlift bags. Easy kit. Have heard good things from Firestone bags also. Not sure if one is rated over another or not. I got my kit through my work so it worked out to be pretty cheap. Campingworld.com sells the airlift kits (most people dont look there). If your a member you get pretty good deals

Does the ride feel any different? I wouldn't be so concerned normally but I just went from an fx4 to a lariat and I'm loving the softer ride.... I really don't feel like screwing it up.

air bags wont ride any different because they wont be aired up unless you are hauling with them, so it will be at stock until you get air into them to raise up the rear, they are more for distributing a load than anything
