Oh and check to see if you have all available plugins installed.

I've looked for plugins, but other than themes I couldn't find any that were F150 helpful or specific?

None that are Ford specific but in general to the app itself. Here's a screen shot of all the plugins I have.

Subbing this. Just got my adapter today, installed everything, and played with it a little bit. Cleared my 171 and 174 codes, but not sure what to monitor to watch for the causes of the codes. Any suggestions?
Don't want to hijack, but don't want to start a new thread when this one seems to benefit more than just me.

I think what we (I) need are baselines, and that is what I am trying to figure out.

What, for instance, is optimal trans fluid temp? Coolant temp? I can't get my TP to yet register correct oil temp, but what should it be for say, unloaded, sea level, flat hwy at 65 mph cruising speed? Further, I have set real time dials to indicate misfires on one screen for all 8 cylinders, and "tot misfires" gauge in the middle, so that I can easily monitor in real time if I am getting misfires when I accelerate, going up hills, downshift, etc. Problem is...the "total misfires" is registering one misfire every time I drive somewhere, but the monitors for each cylinder are not registering any?

The Ford pids are ok, but which are important? I don't know. If the cats are full, will the "back pressure" gauge be what I want, or the O2 sensor data, or the heat data? This is the discussion that I think we all need...perhaps we could load our individual baselines for the various trucks and try to view discrepancies? I would be willing to send myself an upload of the $6 data and share with y'all? We could set parameters before the test...say at least 10 miles, flat, no load, stock tires (or whatever you decide)...we could establish model truck, year, curb weight, etc...and from there? It might be a PIA initially, but would be a great resource for the community? In that way we could compare notes, and then we could extrapolate optimals and self diagnose...

Just a thought..

How did you get yours to read that!? I have a screen like that too and I just get a line through the gauge. I have the plugins for ford on the app. Possible for you to send me a screenshot of your lay out

I just get lines through the real time misfire gauges too, but that makes sense, they aren't going to register anything until a misfire. I know they are monitoring because in the test results, it is registering essentially the same information...the gen tot misfire is indicating 2.5% misfires, but no individual cylinder is now showing up misfiring either in the misfires "calculated" or actual cylinder number misfire sections...now this has not always been the case, I was getting a floating misfire from cylinder 1,7 and 5...but now none are registering. Very strange.

I would be happy to send a screen shot of anything I have set up...can I post them as pics here?

I logged my warm-up and trip to work this morning, and the first thing that jumped out at me was that O2 sensor Bank 2, Sensor 1 did not show a single voltage figure the entire time...not even a zero.
The 01 5.4 has 4 O2 sensors, right? So if there is no data being recorded from the B2S1 location, am I correct in assuming the sensor needs replaced?

And I agree with Prof 100%. I can interpret what these numbers are, but without a baseline or "normal" number, I can't interpret what they mean.
