Hmmm...you should be able to see misfires.

With the disclaimer that my truck is a 2005, I cannot see why a 2003 won't show the misfires in the test results...

Make sure that you have loaded the Ford specific PID's; that might have something to do with it...AND make sure, after you have done that, that you are looking at the real-time test results, NOT the real time information - I was not able to get the individual sensors to register misfires in the real time information, but I can see all of my cylinders on the test results, and how they are performing - but it is a different tab. I am assuming that you have figured all this out - and in the event that you have, my lasts suggestion would be to go to the Torque App web site and ask the developer a question on the forums - sometimes he will actually respond - OR search the forums with your question, lots of good info there...

Good luck -

This app does work pretty slick. I mainly use mine for towing. I watch the tranny temp, coolant temp, throttle percentage, volts, and rpm. I couldn't get the oil temp reading to work, and I couldn't get a manifold pressure reading. I don't think it reads oil pressure (couldn't find it) and I wish it did. Not sure what else would be useful to watch. Good luck.

Hey guys. After searching I'm going to resurrect an older thread because I still have a few questions. I've got the free Torque app on my phone which is pretty cool. I'm wondering if I purchase the paid version if I'll be able to monitor my transmission temp and oil temp. I'm also wondering how you download the PID's. Do you do that right from your phone from the Torque app settings? Appreciate the help. BTW Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Transmission temp yes, oil temp at least on my truck, no.

Pids download with the program.
