Default Too much for leveling install?

I called a local off road truck accessories shop to see how much it would cost to install my 3" hbs leveling kit. They told me $350. That seems a bit high to me or is that a good deal? What do y'all think?

That actually seems about right, it's probably a couple hours work. Might be a little high though. Shop around at all?

Ha no that's not a good deal. Do it yourself for 0 and then get an alignment for like 75...wish I would have done mine but it was only 150 aligned out the door.

No not really. Don't have many choices around here. I have a couple other places I need to call and I'm gonna see what they charge. Hopefully I can get it done for like 150 or in that range.

It's fairly simple to do yourself. You only need a few tools, a jack, some jack stands for added support, and a nice level spot on your driveway to do it. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins per side with general automotive knowledge.

When mine comes in I'm probably going to do a write-up on how to do it. I'll be using my buddies shop tho because we'll be installing some other things as well + tires and will need the tire machine to mount and balance them.

$350 just the labor? Your supplying the kit right? If so that seems real high. I installed mine myself. Although it was easy it's not for everyone. Took me under 2 hours start to finish by myself. A shop that knows what there doing with a lift should have it under 2 hours. If thats the case it's too high. Find out there hourly rate, Im doubting it's $175/hr. Drive to the next town if you have to. Just because its the only one near you doesnt mean there the only ones. A 30 min ride could save you hundreds...(little too much like Geico?)

I think that's a bit high. I paid $160.00 to have my front bilstein 5100's installed.
