Default Is there a difference between HD and FX4 headlights?

Just curious. I haven't seen the two vehicles side by side but from pictures I've seen they look identical. Just wondering if there are any differences.

The only difference is the truck that they are connected to. They both will fit your truck just fine.

yea the harley ones have black background, fx4 have chrome...i like the black much more imo (unless your truck is white or something)


but they are a direct fit on both vehicles...100% the same except the stated

Maybe it was FX2 or something then. I found a right HD headlight on ebay and then a left FX2 black housing headlight too. They looked identical. OEM lights for $250 shipped put together versus the $400 most HD sets I saw going for. I picked up a set of knockoff HD headlights but those other two should still be on there if someone wants to save $150 on OEM headlights.

Yeah, the FX2 has the black headlights as well. I have seen a ton of FX4's with the black lights, too.

yeah, exactly the same, mine have the black background which flows nice with the truck, taillights are tinted from the factory a little too. My old roommate in college had a 2007 black FX4 with the same headlights. I think the chrome inside the regular ones is a little gaudy personally.

I have a a white truck with fx2 headlights i like them i also painted my f150 emblems black and i have black taillights and third brake light i like the way it looks but its all personal preference i have oem chrome lights and oem taillights if anybody needs em

anyone have the blacked out lights on a blue truck??? wanted to see them on one before I bought them.
