It is all just loose fit right now with the lens set back on for pics. Nothing is aimed or permanent yet, I need a flat lot and a wall to be able to set rotation and level evenly. Still have to bake the second one open as well.

If I'm not mistaken, 5-6K is the brightest, and of coarse the higher you go, the bluer it gets. I'm not sure if that's the look you are going for, but I know you could get higher than 6k from ddmtuning or even from a vendor on here. You could also ask nickpatton_189 and see what he has!

Yeah, anything over 5k = major decrease in performance. 8k+ = LOL.

I don't understand why the blue is so appealing to some people, but to each there own. I think 6k is just the right amount of blue while still offering great vision while driving at night.

How hard was the q45? I thought about because I think it looks better with the setup like you have. I remember you saying it was a lot of cutting and aligning and realigning.

You seem like the type of person that tries to pull people over with hids "the wrong way" and lecture them about why they should be in projectors etc... Lol

Straight up bro! the "retrofit police" is hating on hids not in projectors but honestly I could not justify spending hundreds of dollars more for what would be a styling upgrade for me. And the q45 is the only decent looking projector IMO lol. I love my 8k hids and i get compliments on them all the time. When I see other cars with hids I think it looks sweet!
