Default System / Speakers

I am wanting to get some speakers / a system for my truck. I don't want anything that big, but I would like for it to fit under the backseats. The only thing that has been suggested to me are Memphis 10's in a probox. Any suggestions?

Hire a leprechaun to play the bass drum under the back seat??

Just kidding, I have heard good things about Memphis but still I remain unbass-ized- For now IAN!!!

IMO it depends on what sound you are looking for as to what brand amp/sub combination you get.

I've always ran Kenwood Excelon everything, and I absolutley LOVE the sound quality I get.... Allthough I did run a pair of 12" vipers for about 3 weeks because my Excelon subs had issues once, and my buddy at the audio place lent me them, and I gotta say I was pretty impressed with them too..

General rule, higher power, cleaner sound. Just because you CAN doesn't mean you HAVE to crank it all the way up....

You could always get the MTX thunderform box from supercrewsound.com. I have'n personally heard it but it is designed to fit under the back seat without losing the jack or anything. I built my own box with an infinity sub, alpine amp and pioneer deck and door speakers. I couldn't be happier. I just recommend ifyou peice it together that you find a friend that works at best buy cause their discount is rediculous!

+1 on the kicker, I have one in my truck. It rattles the hell out of the truck. This is the setup I have. ...http://cgi.ebay.com/04-08-Ford-F150-...QQcmdZViewItem

I had the thunderform box is my last truck and it was very nice. Now I have 2 JL 10W1 subs in a wood box I found on ebay. It actually turned out the ebay stores warehouse was located about 10 minutes from my house, so I got it for under $50.
