all these that are listed still wont touch the dc sound lab level 2 woofer, i would much rather have a box I built, but if you have to go prefab then do it

sony makes a 10 in a box for $179. sounds good for a ten (especially for a sony). if you're tryin to save space this thing is tiny but sounds a-ok. won't shake the block (or even your glasses on the rearview) but it'll add depth to your musics. if you want more than that then there's the kenwood pancake sub (model escapes me), the kicker cvt is really nice, and rockford makes a pancake sub which comes in a pre-fab box. all available at best buy (minus the kicker)

I got a box form music moose for 100$ and a DC lvl2 that will make that sony look stupid and is a third of the price than the rockford pre-fab setup. Will hopefully have it installed today if you need pics.

please good god dont get that sony, the rockford is ok and so is the kicker cvt but the shallow mount subs dont give you the lows you need and or want, the kenwood shallow sounds a lil "tinny"

the dc lvl 2 is your best bet, its best prices and will give you more of what you want and more of what you need

i want pictures sincity!

i have a custom box under the back seat that fits a 12" rockford fosgate p3d212 shallow mount thats being run by the RF p400.2 and its all that i could ask for ... strong bass and clean sound.

I am in the process of installing my system but this is what i have as of now...

I have a kicker zx600 amp pushing one, soon to be two jl audio 10w3v3's in a downfire box in a 08 f150 supercrew. I just bought a prefab box for two tens and added 3/4 inch to the depth and the w3's fit perfect. The box sticks out an inch or so but not in the way of leg space by any means and im going to adjust the bottom of the back seat so that itll slip under where you wont notice any lip sticking out. The amp will be mounted behind the back seat on the wall. FYI: if you go with this idea, reinforce the box very well because i had to add some silicone and screws becuase the w3 was pounding so hard.

when i install the second w3 it will be beyond enough for the amount of space available without lifting the seat. one 10w3 sounds awesome. hope this helps someone.

they make brackets to lift your rear seat a few inches. theyre expensive but it beats paying a ***** ton of money to have custom boxes made.

MTX, rockford fosgate, and infinity all make good speakers. but your gonna get what you pay for. thats all there is to it in the audio world.
