Default On the subject of plugs

Afellow that works for me just had his Excursion V10 blow 2 plugs out of the heads.
Any body heard if the 5.4 would have the same problem?

the older 5.4L have been known to shoot plugs out! My GF father has a V10, the plugs have shot out on that thing too.

Yes, all of the 2 valve triton motors had problems with spitting plugs, and then ford decided to overbuild the 3 valve tritons and opened up a whole new can of worms when they did so.

The new 3 valve plugs don't want to come out of the block and sometimes break off in the head.
