Default Strut question

I have a 2006 f150 that I put a add-a-lead and 2 1/2" leveling kit on about six months ago and it sat withing 1/2" of level andabout 2 months ago I noticed a broken strut so I replaced both front struts with monroes that i bought from rock auto and at the time the truck looked to sit atleast close to what it was before the level but now I looked and its seemed like the front was extra low and I measured and the front is sitting 3 inches lower than the rear so it dropped atleast 2 inches. Is it normal for these struts to wear out that much that fast

Something doesn't sound right. I have a 2.5" level and my Monroes are about 9 months old. They are still sitting where they should. I wonder if a shop has the ability to pull the struts out and test them?

I'm assuming he bought Monroe Quickstruts so they come as one brand new ready to install package.

I understand that but the fact that the front is sagging would not be the struts it would be the coils

I have never been a fan of Monroe products. I would try calling the Monroe tech support team. It could be that the spring has weakened.

We are seeing better results with the Rancho brand.

Sorry to thread jack. I was thinking about the Rancho but my concern is I have a 2.5 leveling kit and with my tire and rim combo if I lose any of that height I will rub. Id like the quick struts but I might have to settle for the 9000s struts and find a spring compressor
