Default Stopping Brake Dust????

Is there any way to stop getting brake dust all over my front rims? I just recently replaced them. Could that just be because they are new and will eventually stop?

As far as I know the only way to stop it is to park your truck and never drive it.

They aren't that hard to clean. I'll go look if you want, but there is an Armor All Spray that you just spray on the wheels, do a quick scrub with a rag, spray off, and they look brand new.

Yep. The ceramic pads are better for lower dust. Some reports state that they have a slightly less braking efficiency. I have used them and did not notice this.

If I were towing heavy loads with my truck, I'd investigate this to see if it's valid, and by how much it would reduce by.

I'm not really sure about the pads, but I do know that putting a coat of wax on my wheels, the break dust doesn't seem to stick to the wheels as much and is super easy to clean off. I clean my wheels/tires once a week even if my truck doesn't need a bath. If you don't keep up with it, you can kiss your nice wheels good bye because that stuff will never come off it untreated. Just my thoughts anyway!

When it comes time for my pads to be replaced, thats what I'm doing. Inside of two weeks my front wheels are a dark grey color so I have to keep the thing washed every other weekend.
