Default Steering Wheel Wrap

Anybody have any luck with leather steering wheel wraps? I want to get one, but it seems the after market ones look cheesy around the steering wheel spokes.

http://www.wheelskins.com/ check out this site. The two tone ones look pretty nice. Some look pretty lame but I saw one on an f150 and it didn't look bad at all.

Wheelskins... I had a two tone on my 98 F150, and the first thing I ordered for my '05 was a black one. Absolutely love them, and it looks professionally done.

I used the same one in my Tahoe and my F150. I must say that they are a bar to get on. Even after leaving them in the sun for an afternoon.

Thanks for the info. I looked at Wheelskins and when looking around the net, I found slot of reviews that the lacing cord and needles broke, and that they look cheesy going around the spokes. Yours look good and I think I'm gone bite the bullet and get one. Are they a pain to install? The website says 60 minutes for installation, so does that mean 2hrs in the real world?

It doesn't take long at all, like they've said, around an hour. And ive installed 2 of them and pulled pretty hard on the lacing and never had one to break...

Here's the wheelskins install I did. The key is to really take your time....gradually work your way around the wheel several times to get the threads snug. For a super-smooth install, you could possibly have a pro do a hemmed edge of some sort near where the spokes will be, then skip those parts while threading and use something like a hot glue gun to pin the edge down at the spoke.

That looks really good. I have a grey wheel and wanted a black wrap, but your two tone looks great. I might go that way myself.
