Default starting problem.

Hey guys 2006 Screw 4.6 6in lift 35s edge evo tuner k&n CAI flowmaster exhaust

starting problem.-forumrunner_20141028_170617.jpg

So for the passed few Months my truck has been starting funny. From pre detenation(sp?) To taking a while to start. Its almost like my fuel systems bleeding back. It runs amazing when it finally fires. But prior too I have 40psi in the fuel rail just put ford OEM plugs in hoping that would fix it. No dice. New filter etc. Anybody else had this issue? Or relates? Also a few days ago I was getting an o2 sensor code pop up when started but not in a few days

The bad O2 sensors could be telling the truck its warm when its cold, or vice versa. That will effect the idle which could change your start ups. So I would replace them especially because you are getting codes for that.

How old is your battery? I had to replace my original 06 battery about a year ago. My truck would occasionally have problems starting but the new battery fixed that right up. Now it starts in half the time it used to.

I'm not seeing anything useful on that code.
I would start with the usual maintenance stuff. Since you have the K&N, clean your throttle body and MAF. The filter oil can gunk the MAF and give false readings.
Also take a look at your fuel trims and what O2's are doing.

Just a thought...check the condition of your FPDM.
