Default Starting mods...

I just recently purchased a 2006 Ford 5.4 L Crewcab Pickup and I am ready to mod it out. Just trying to get some opinions on where I should start. It has 20's on it already and I want to lower it and soup it up. In a couple of months I will have the money for a supercharger but for now I want to do the basics to start with. Like what gear ratio should I go with, what type of exhaust, headers, intake, chip or programmer, what type of shift kit, and any other normal bolt-ons that you would recommend?

I would go with a magnaflow exhaust system and headers for now.

It would be useless to add a tuner that you wont be able to use in a few months b/c you will have a supercharger. The same goes with a intake.

gears for a truck are just like choosin gears for a mustang you gotta kno what you want like if you put 4.10s ina stang your gas milage will suck but it you put 373s or 355 in a stang gas mialge will be decent and so will performance

I would hold off on gears untill you get the supercharger.

I have a mustang to but is the gear ratio the same for a truck as is with mustang. I have 4.10s in my mustang but would they do the same for the truck or do I need a taller gear like 4.56 or something of that sort.
