Squealing while turning left

Default Squealing while turning left

2006 FX4 Super cab
I changed ball joint, UCAs, struts, sway bar links. Tie rod ends looked good so I didn't change them. Got an alignment. Front tires are worn pretty good on the edges. When I turn left, but not on my brakes, I get a loud squealing noise from the front tire. I am at a loss, can y'all help? Suggestions?

Default It was so bad I took it to my mechanic .

I had changed out all rotors with bearings included . Turned out one new one was bad , supplier made parts good , I ate the labor . Sometimes you have to let a more experienced guy diagnose it .
Also check your brake pads if they are worn out they can cause this . That's a cheap fix.

when I did the ball joints I looked at the pads and they looked good.

I am about to go double check the pads but assuming it is the wheel bearing, do I need to order both sides or one at a time?

Default Depends on your miles on bearings

First set I changed oem integral units both sides . Second time I put centric 2 piece units in so in future I can use a 4 wheel rotor on front and I don't have to pull one time use nuts off . So far I like the centric modification .
The first set is where I had a new failure . Nothing says you can't do one side at a time. Depends if you think you should get an alignment done afterwards . If you are going to get alignment do both sides. Plus if one side is going how far down the road do you think the other one will go.
The nut on the shaft is torqued to 295pounds it is not easy to find a torque wrench that size . I had bought my own .
Everything is your best bet ! Good luck

my truck is a 4wd
I've heard the 2wd trucks doing this, whatsthe benefit of this?

Default If you are 4wd then this mod is not for you

You already have rotors separate from bearings on front , this just makes us rwd folks equal to you on the rotors .
But we don't have to fix all that 4wd stuff . But we are the ones stuck that you help pull us out !LOL.
