Anyone have any experience with spec-d halos found a set on Craigslist for 200 with tails they don't look to bad or should I just buy brand new ones?

You can get yourself a brand new set of spyder CCFL halo headlights for $200 online but not with the tails.. I am personally not a fan of those headlights so I would go spyder if you want aftermarket.

If you want to be able to see the halos during the daytime, get CCFL instead of LEDs. But if that's what you'd like for your truck, then go for it.

I am really happy with mine, the brightest halos I've seen without some custom retrofiting. I have a thread about them here: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/recon-h...beware-190793/

Here is a pic:

And I switched the accent bulbs for white leds which really made an appearance difference.

Wiring is real simple just crimp all the positives together add an extra piece of wire to the end of that crimp and use a quick connect to tap into your amber light power source. Same for the negative but tap into the ground! Once you look at them for 5 minutes you will understand. I also recommend switch back led blinkers cuz they look really sweet lol

i have the blacked out spyder head projector headlight assembly and LED smoked tailights..from what i can tell from the pics my fiancee sent me they are legit..they made a tremendous differance in looks, little pricey buying brand new but worth it in my opinion. my headlight pics don't do them justice, and the pictures make them look chrome.
