shocks/struts
My 2cents, stock replacement go to rock auto and pick up the Monroe quick strut, it is a simple unbolt and bolt in not springs to remove etc as it comes complete. For the rear the monroe sensatrack load adjusting, they come as a pair and are about the same price (may be less) then a pair of standard shock but give you more load control with out a harsh ride.
All 4 corners for about $350 including shipping

I am seriously thinking about ordering the Rancho Quicklift, but my hesitaion is that I just spent 1000 on upper lower ball joints and inner outter tie rods. How much faster will the lift wear these parts out?
You wont regret that decision. I did the quicklifts up front and the matching 9000xls in the rear and love them. They didnt put anywhere near as much of an angle on the cv axles as the 2.5" leveling kit did, and with a much better ride.
I orderd the Rancho Quicklift today. I did however, decide to go with Monroe Reflex for the rear. I wanted a more "stock" ride. The reviews I was reading said that Rancho would have been tighter. Oh well, they should come in early next week. Will follow up and let you know how they ride.
Just did the Rancho Quicklifts today with the matching XL9000's on the rear of my 08 Lariat. A full 2" lift and a sweet ride. Rear shocks bout 1 hour in a home shop, the fronts about 2 hours total using common tools. Pull out the existing strut/spring assembly and put in the new ones. I'm sold on the Rancho's, the whole set of 4 from Amazon is $400 after the rebate currently offered. Can't go wrong with it.
New 33's tomorrow, here's a quick cell phone pic.
