Default Seafoam

I was going to seafoam my 05 5.4L f150 this weekend. I was wondering what vacume line was best to use??? I noticed the brake booster line splits one part going to the intake and the other runs down the firewall. Im not sure if that would be the best vacume line to use, the intake side or both????

Are you really sure you want to use Seafoam? Just some food for thought (see links). The line, IF you still want to use it, is the brake booster line that goes into the intake.

PEA cleaners do a much better and safer job.

There are a ton of threads on this, some people say don’t use it, it CAN cause problems. But I have yet to read about anyone actually having a problem themselves. I used half a can through my vacuum line (the one you mentioned coming off the master cylinder with a T fitting on it) and half a can through my gas tank. I really didn’t "feel" a huge difference. It did however quiet a sight lifter tick that I had. Using it is up to you, there are hundreds of positive things on this and other forums about it and only theory about hydro lock and gasket eating situations. I tend to believe in actual first hand testimonials over advertising and hearsay. Just add half a can VERY slowly to your vacuum line, let it sit for 10 mins then blow it out. Just don’t use it all the time and you should be fine.

It has been quite a few years but I ran it (through the vacuum line) on my 2002 F-150. I did not notice a huge difference

I used it on my truck through the vac line and the gas tank. It got more responsive and idles alot smoother..but the truck has a history of being ran until it's almost completely out of gas, with 139k miles on it..so, explaining where the rough idle came from,..
It worked pretty good for me(:
