Have your Edge converted to a Gryphon by PHP then get custom tunes to correct any lean issues you are having. You won't be able to change it with your Edge. In the meantime, go back to your stock intake.

Or you could always get a SCT X3 and have Mike at 5 Star write you some tunes. He can have you tunes within a few days.

The answer is the best tune you can run is a custom tune. No tune on the canned Edge will be able to compensate. Either get custom tunes or take off the CAI, those are the choices.

It's good to post your year truck and engine size.

Some of the earlier 5.4's had this problem with tunners.

Convert to gryphon and custom tunes that compensate for lean issue caused by cai, or sell the edge and get a programmer that has canned cai tunes such as diablosport predator. It is 4 or 5 brands of intakes that have canned tunes. This is why I chose that programmer.

When I was waiting for custom tunes from PHP they told me to use level 2 (tow setting).

How do you know if you are running lean, do you have a check engine light on in the dash? I have an o6 with the 5.4 with the edge on level 2 and with the s&B cold air intake, My truck runs great.
