Yes we largely generalize all aftermarket CAIs just because there are so many out there. Turbulence factors also have to be taken into account for the MAF strategy also as it has trouble with that too. These trucks also run close to 14.75 a/f from the factory anyways so it's a thin line to walk. I think we're on the same page here on aftermarket CAIs, that's why I still feel the Gotts mod is a great option.

Also just looked it up S&B website, the 04 f-150 takes a different intake then the 05-08 trucks. Plus it looks like the motorcraft air filter flows better then the S&B. They have their flow charts for factory and their product man. Your talking like tenths of a decimal different.
