I agree with 08silverbulet, the dash pod makes the Edge a little bit more OEM feeling... The majority of people have their Edge in the "level 2 - towing" mode which allows you to keep using 87 octane, plus the low end power increase is fantastic.

I don't have a tuner, but don't believe you get something for nothing. With your tuner set to level 2, does it reduce your mileage? Seems like that low end power boost has to cost something. Just curious.

No MPG loss with the tuner set to Level #2. Some claim an increase - I couldn't find it on mine.
I went from a 5.4L to the 4.6L. Was disappointed with power drop until I put the tuner in. Just seemed to take forever to get through the gears and up to cruising speed.
The Edge Evo made a tremendous difference. Still not a hot rod but fun to drive.
The best $$$'s I have spent on the truck.

Okay, I'm tempted. Right now I feel like I have to baby my truck some since I put on 33's and have a 3.55 rear end. Seems like if I add a tuner, I'd be stressing my diff and tranny quite a bit without a regear. Thanks for the feedback on the tuner. Good info.

The only thing you're stressing is your mind. Quit worrying and enjoy.
Buy the tuner first and then later you may want to consider re-gearing. Much more expense for this and not really necessary unless you need more low end power.

well, it seems people either hate it or really don't care. I'm going to keep it because i don't need a special tune or anything like that. Thanks
