Question Remote Entry

I have a 2006 xlt with the keyless entry remote. Recently i haven't been able to lock the truck too well with the remote the battery is new and the only way to lock the truck with it is to get really close to passenger side windshield. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Have you tried replacing the battery?? If the batterys are low they may not be able to produce a strong signal.
