Default Rebuilding the engine!!

Well my 07 F150 5.4 started to make a loud ticking noise after chaning the plugs and engine oil... Told the dealer/dads friend and he added and oil addetive to quiet it down but still the tick got louder told the guy again! His mechanic said it was a loose valve.. Well long story short he decided to rebuild the whole engine at no cost! Yay for me hahaha

the local cdn salvage company wants 6000 for a 6.2 l with 67,000 km on it! what a ripoff, when a new coyote 5.0 l with 429 hp can be had for 8000 including new harness/wiring , pcm etc.
