Default RBP grill question?

Anyone install a RBP grill on their truck? I got one and cut my fx4 grill like instructions showed but brackets on RBP grill don't work with what I've ended up with. I'm wondering if they only work with xlt grilles?

I got the RL grill too, the 6 brackets on back of the RBP grill don't even come close to touching whats left after I cut out center of my stock grill. I cut out center like the 1 page instruction sheet showed, I'm afraid I've cut out too much. Which kind of grill came stock with your truck?

mine came with the lariot honeycomb grille, i cut out about 1/4 and inch around so the grille would sit nice and flush inside the grille surround. and as for the brackets i would recomend spending some extra money and go get some flat aluminum from lowes and bend your own brackets!!! they will work so much better than the ones they give you! if you wantto send some pictures in a PM or post them here i can have a better idea of how to help you!

I trashed my FX4 grill about a month ago, I've been looking around for a honeycomb style grill like yours because I think it will work out better, do you have any pics of backside of your grill?
