Default Rattle in door

I just got a 2007 F150. I had it 4 days and we had a bad storm with alot of wind and it got into a fight with the neighbors trampoline. Needless to say the trampoline won. Before that happened the door had a bad rattle in it when going over bumps in the road. I noticed the door seal cut so I had the body shop put a new one on. It helped out but it still rattles some but I think it is where the seat belt is. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Mine also rattles, wondering if the hinges or door pins need to be replaced though

I have heard of a common issue with a bolt falling out of the window motor mount inside the door. I have been wondering if that is my problem as it seems to be more noticeable with the window down. Haven't taken it apart yet to check. Waiting to get new speakers so I can do it all at once.

Is it a Supercrew or a Supercab?

If you have a Supercab, make sure you close the rear door with authority otherwise it will rattle. Also try swapping the rubber door bumpers around. I took my front door bumper and put in the rear door bumper location and put the rear door bumper in the front door.

The two bumpers are different sizes but they will go into either door. This fixed the rattle in mine. Somebody posted this and it turned out it works for the Supercab.

Can't help ya on the Supercrew.

Try wrapping the striker (? part on the truck which the door latches onto? ) with some electrical tape. Twice around should be fine.

I read the same thing and I am going to try that tomorrow with buying 4 new bumpers cause the front ones are mushroom shaped on the end. Thanks for yall's input on this. I will try whatever works cause it is driving me crazy.

If the bumpers don't work that is where I am checking next. Just try the quick fix first.

Yes! Thank you for the link. I wasn't searching correctly and couldn't find it but that is exactly what I was referring to.
